Two men suffering from stab wounds were taken away in ambulances from Coldharbour Lane in the early hours of the morning after a confrontation opposite Clifton Mansions.
We were on the scene around 4.00am and saw two white men being attended to by paramedics. Both had what appeared to be stab wounds.
An eye witness told us that the two white males – both between 25-35 – got into a minor confrontation with two black males in the street. This swiftly escalated with the stab wounds being inflicted and the attackers then running off down Coldharbour Lane.
Police were on the scene all night, and this tweet from an hour ago shows that a section of the road is still taped off.
