Following today’s large rally and march, Black Lives Matter campaigners are currently occupying a main traffic thoroughfare in Brixton, with all traffic stopped on the junction of Brixton Road and Acre Lane, Effra Road and Coldharbour Lane.
There’s been a police helicopter flying ahead for some time and there’s plenty of police on the scene, but so far proceedings have been peaceful.
