This set of pedestrian crossing lights at the corner of Coldharbour Lane and Atlantic Road are no more.
They have ceased to be. They have expired and gone to meet their maker. Bereft of life, they are now ex-lights after being flattened by some unknown vehicle yesterday afternoon.
Despite now residing on the pavement the lights still functioned and provided endless amusement for the drunken revellers on Coldharbour Lane.
The piece of police tape doesn’t seem to be much use.
At 7.30am this morning, the lights were still lying on the ground.
