We have to admit that we’ve become a bit fascinated with the flattened street crossing light on the corner of Atlantic Road and Coldharbour Lane in central Brixton.
Sent crashing to the ground in some unknown incident (above), the post has continued to provide an unexpected obstacle course for drunken revellers and mums pushing prams down the street.
It’s now been there for ten days, acquiring a natty orange hat five days ago.
Seeing as the council seems to be in no particularly hurry to remove these lights, we’re wondering if they have indeed become a new art installation for Brixton. We’ve definitely seen worse.
