Coldharbour Lane in Brixton was sealed off overnight outside Southwyck House by Gresham Road, following reports of a double shooting incident.
The Met Police told Brixton Buzz
Police were called at 00:44hrs on 21 June to Coldharbour Lane SW9 following reports of shots fired.
Officers attended.
One man, aged in his 20s, was found suffering from a gunshot injury and taken to hospital.
A short time later another man in his 30s presented at a south London hospital with a gunshot injury.
Their conditions have been assessed as not life-threatening.
At this time there have been no arrests. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that could assist police is asked to call 101 ref CAD 591/21 June.
As of 1pm today (21st June), Coldharbour Lane is now open for traffic but Moorland Road remains sealed off, with police in attendance.
Update: 18.45pm Sun 21st June 2020: Moorland Road and Loughborough Park remains cordoned off.
Further east along Coldharbour Lane there were reports of a ‘huge block party’ in Loughbrough Junction with “tons of cops and helicopter here.”
